We stayed at Babylon Villa while looking for property in the area, and it proved to be the perfect base. The location made it easy to explore the different villages and neighbourhoods west of Kyrenia, while the villa itself was a super relaxing place to return to. It was clean, well equipped, and offered everything we needed during our stay. We took the owners recommendation for car hire so we could get around and the car was delivered to the villa without any issues. The peaceful setting and relaxed feeling the villa gave us made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend Babylon Villa to anyone visiting the area, whether for a holiday or a longer-term property search.
We had a wonderful stay at Babylon Villa. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, with peaceful surroundings, and plenty of space to enjoy some downtime. The villa was clean, comfortable, and felt really homely. We also found it to be an excellent base for exploring the local area, with plenty of places to visit within easy reach. After each day out, it was lovely to return to the villa and relax by the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
All i can say is what a little gem this place is, great location, wonderful pool, beautifully sunny - what else can you want from a summer holiday!
I booked the villa for six of us for a 10 days, we all had a fantastic time. The villa was a great size, large enough for everyone to relax comfortably, with plenty of room both inside and out. We loved spending our days by the pool, enjoying barbecues in the evenings. We explored the area and thought the location of the villa was spot on, it was well equipped. The perfect setting for a memorable holiday with friends, we will be back, hopefully next year.
We chose Babylon Villa as our base for a walking holiday and it was absolutely perfect. The location provided easy access to some fantastic walking routes, with beautiful scenery right on the doorstep. After a day exploring the area, it was wonderful to return to such a comfortable and peaceful villa. Everything was lovely and clean, well equipped, and designed for relaxation. We especially enjoyed unwinding by the pool. Highly recommended for anyone who loves walking and the outdoors.

The Villa was clean, spacious and had absolutely everything you could have wanted or needed.
We have stayed in a few different villas in Lapta but this was definitely the best.
Lovely quiet location with local shops within walking distance.
The pool was amazing and not overlooked. Everything felt very private.
Lovely outdoor seating areas where you could either lap up the sun or sit in the shade.
We also used the bbq which is a great addition.
There was a regular pool service and also a visit from the gardener who is not only lovely but keeps the garden looking stunning.
We also had great communication with the owner and also had a number for the local maintenance man who was also very helpful if ever we had any questions.
Would 100% recommend.
Had an excellent 2-week break here at the end of May. The Villa is spacious with everything you need. It’s simply the perfect place to relax and unwind. Will definitely be returning!
Just returned from another fantastic stay at Biilly Babylon, again absolutely brilliant. The villa & pool both had excellent upgrades ( not that they needed them) to ensure the holiday was even better than last year and the facilities are first class and immaculately clean and tidy.
Ventured a bit more in the local area and had excellent meals & nights out at Roadhouse (live music Fridays), silver rocks and blue song and also well worth a visit is the new exic restaurant if you fancy a steak.
A fascinating trip to farmagusta is also well worth a day out as is walking over the bridge from silver rocks on a Sunday afternoon to Sardunya bay to watch live music on the beach from 3-7pm but best get a cab back 😂😂😂😂.
I could go on a lot more about the villa / area etc but I won’t as people need to visit and see for themselves this gem of a place.
Can’t wait to return in October 2023.
What a lovely relaxing place we have just visited at Billy Babylon. The very spacious Villa has everything needed and is situated in a friendly local village with the added bonus of an amazing pool where you spend hours just chilling, reading, having a beer or 2 and unwinding. Excellent communications between the owner, Keith the property manager ( gives some excellent information on what’s what etc) and the customer plus had a great chat with the Gsrdener and the pool maintenance fella chatting about football and having a laugh. Very local to supermarket (2/3 mins walk) that stocks everything you need and a short bus or taxi ride into the main town. Local takeouts if needed but a short taxi away you find silver rocks or roadhouse which both serve lovely food and are friendly and vibrant. Could go on for ages but will let people find out for themselves, we can’t wait to go back next year for at least 3 weeks. Gutted to leave and head home, we really were.
A couple of other winners are a meal and visit to Bellapais abbey and a sunset cruise in the evening from Girne harbour.
Visit Teo’s at the end of the road, think I went nearly everyday for a beer & chat 😀
Class Villa, fantastic holiday.
We've been visiting the villa for the past 4 years, including a seven month winter rental. It's a fantastic holiday home, situated in an outstanding location. Billy Babylon sits on a large plot of land with beautiful, well maintained gardens, complimented with an immaculate swimming pool and sun bathing/lounging areas. An oasis of calm!! It's an ideal choice for families. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets are within walking distance, with main shopping areas just a short drive or bus ride away. The villa is set in an area surrounded by the local population, providing guests with an authentic North Cyprus experience. It's a peaceful spot for relaxation, with a lively nightlife close by for the older kids, (and fun loving adults). We have lived in North Cyprus, then returning at least twice a year, every year, and this rental is by far the best value on offer. Keith, the caretaker, Kurt the pool guy and Mahmood the gardener, provide outstanding support and advice if required. A great team!!
I would strongly recommend this villa to holiday makers, old and young. It's terrific value in a super spot.

What a dreamy place! We just spent 9 days here and we are so coming back.
The Villa is massive, fully equipped, 3 big bedrooms, 2 big bathrooms, kitchen with everything you need.
On top of this, the use of a private pool with sunbeds and parasols.
Grocery shopping literally round the corner, restaurants close by, regular bus to beach and town for less than a £1.
We had the best time and we will be back!

We recently spent two weeks at this delightful villa. It has three huge bedrooms and two newly fitted bathrooms. All rooms are air-conditioned. The villa is maintained to a high standard. The pool is excellent with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The transfer fee from Larnaca Airport takes about an hour and is £50 each way. Kyrenia Harbour is only about 20 mins drive with lots of bars and restaurants. Also a big choice of restaurants close to the villa. Lots of lovely surrounding areas to explore. All in all a wonderful holiday. We would not hesitate to return.
